About

Ramp Rush

Ocean pollution, primarily caused by plastic waste and discarded materials, seriously threatens marine life and ecosystems. In this challenge, participants are tasked with designing a robot that can help clean up polluted water bodies.

The robot must navigate from a designated starting area, cross a ramp, and enter a simulated polluted water zone filled with waste, such as plastic containers and cans. The robot will then collect the waste and transport it to a recycling zone, demonstrating the importance of cleaning up our oceans and promoting recycling to protect marine environments. This challenge is offered in junior categories (LEGO kits) and senior categories (non-LEGO kits), making it accessible to different skill levels.

Ramp Rush (English)

Ramp Rush (Arabic)

To inspire a generation of innovators dedicated to safeguarding our oceans by creating sustainable solutions to combat pollution and promote environmental responsibility.

To empower participants to design and develop robotic solutions that can actively reduce ocean pollution by collecting waste and transporting it to recycling zones. Through this challenge, we aim to enhance awareness of environmental issues, encourage recycling practices, and foster skills in robotics, engineering, and sustainability.
